On the eastern border of the downtown financial district,
the Old Town area begins at Yonge Street. The Gardiner Expressway connects to Yonge Street and to
Jarvis Street, and the Don Valley Parkway exits into the heart of the Downtown Toronto Old Town area through the Richmond
Street offramp. Old Town lies on the Yonge Street subway and can be accessed from the Queen and King
Street subway stations. The main Go Transit and the Union train station is a two minute
walk west of the Old Town neighbourhood.
