The Victoria is a modernized up-to-date boutique hotel that has managed to retain the elegance of its 1909 architecture. Fully refurbished, the second oldest hotel in Toronto features individually heated and air conditioned suites, including rooms with king size beds and deluxe rooms with mini-fridge. All rooms have private bath and shower, coffee maker, voice mail, irons and ironing boards, cable TVs and clock radios. With only 56 rooms, the Victoria is one of the last of the smaller hotels that can cater to the needs of each guest individually. Just north of the hotel is the famed Eaton Centre, an indoor shopping mecca containing five levels of shopping and dining that are housed under a ten storey glass dome. One block west of the hotel is the financial district, which includes the stock exchange and many key corporate offices. The Victoria offers personal service in a fine historic hotel in the heart of the city in the midst of both tourist and business districts.
