Located in the famous St Lawrence Hall, this award winning restaurant combines its historic setting with the best in Italian cuisine. Dine in the only restaurant located in the hall, which was built in 1850. In summer there is a beautiful outdoor patio that is lined with trees and has its own fountain. Inside, large photos of Old Town Toronto as it was a century ago adorn the walls. Authentic dishes include traditional pasta meals such as gnocchi, rigatoni, ravioli and fettuccine, and three types of risotto are available. Dinner specialties focus on classic Italian fare such as Osso Buco and Costoletta Milanese. Rack of lamb, beef tenderloin, cornish hen, pork, and striploin steak are all offered as hearty dinners along with fresh fish and seafood selections. Choose from a variety of salads, soups, and antipasti such as carpaccio to begin your meal. There is an extensive wine list, and the wine cellar can hold parties of up to 18 for celebrating special occasions. If you are looking for authentic Italian food made the way its done in Italy then this is the place for your next fine dining experience.
