Libbys consists of a fine art gallery in one building, and a picture matte and framing shop in another building that is right next door. The picture framing shop is open six days a week and specializes in custom mattes and frames. It also sells a wide variety of art supplies such as canvas, paper, brushes and paint. Special orders are welcome. The art gallery specializes in Group of Seven original paintings as well as other historical and contemporary art. It buys and sells traditional art and can also conduct special art auctions for fund raising. Art shows featuring specific artists are held on a regular basis eight months of the year, and private viewings of the work of selected contemporary artists can be arranged. Limited edition prints are sold for certain artists. Extensive art services include professional written appraisals, detailed restoration, art rentals, and leasing to both private and corporate clients. The gallery is open on Saturdays from 11am to 5pm and is otherwise open by appointment only.
